I wanted to share this photo
sent to me by one of the young
ladies I work with. While she and
her new puppy Wyatt were fishing
at the local lake they came upon
this Canadian goose nest.
Wyatt was quite startled by the
unhappy parents but, he was
not harmed!

We have eight geese which stay in our pasture above the pond. Recently there have only been four, so we're assuming the other four are females sitting on their nests. I don't know how to tell male geese from female geese. I'm looking forward to seeing the little ones.
