More Fabric Books & Annabelle Update

I've finished a couple more fabric books.
This ABC Primer by Wilmington prints is
a cute old fashioned school primer.  It has
sweet  illustrations for the different letters.
Here's a link to a prior post on how
to make a panel book.
Fabric Books
The Hungry Animals Alphabet Book designed
by Janet Wecker Frisch for Quilt Treasures is
one of my favorites.  I made this particular book
and a quilt for my great niece when she was born.
This set is a special request, I've just sent the
matching baby quilt off to the quilter.  I'll post a
photo when I get it finished.
How many objects that start with a
C and D can you find?
These are the pages of the Annabelle book
pinned and ready to be sewn together.

All the pages sewn, pressed and
trimmed at the corners.
I turned the pages right side out
and sewed the opening closed
with the ladder stitch.  While I am
waiting for the machine embroidery to
be done, I am hand quilting each page.
It feels good to make a dent in the
"projects to do someday" pile!
Now..........I'm off  to finish
decorating the Christmas tree.

  1. Oh I love these! Did you do anything to the fabric to make them appear worn and aged? They look so sweetly antiquated.

  2. The fabric panel came that way. The colors are soft and old looking. So easy!

I really love your little books, all of them, but The Hungry Animals Alphabet Book is my f......can't pick favorites, can I? So is this what you have been working on while the winter storm did its thing in your woods? We were out of power for 32 long hours...so spoiled aren't we?
