This morning started out at a beautiful 72 degrees.
This evening the temperature is quickly
dropping and it's pouring. The hubby
and I decided to have our after dinner coffee on
the back deck. To our delight we had a visitor
stop by to wait out the heavy rain.
We often see eagles flying along the creek just
below the house, but this is the first one to
land in one of the tree tops.
No wonder this majestic bird is our
national symbol!
Your visitor is a beauty! We had rain here today, too..."love a rainy day..."!
ReplyDeleteAwesome capture of a priceless image. He is one handsome beauty. Storms moved in around 4:30pm, got to love our Missouri Spring. At least there is no snow in the forecast.

Had to drag my husband in here to see this...what a blessing for you to see that fellow close up and still long enough to take such photos!
ReplyDeleteI agree, they are such beautiful creatures!
ReplyDeleteThe eagle is beautiful. We have seen one here, but not often. It's just wonderful you got to see this one for so long.
ReplyDeleteWow, he's a beauty and lucky you to be able see such birds in your own backyard. I'm living in the wrong state!
ReplyDeleteAmazing to see an eagle in your back yard!!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen one in the wild.
Storms and rain last night, now everything looks like it has grown six inches overnight!
